This should be done after showering, while the pores are still open from the warm water and before the beard has dried. Gently pat the beard with a soft towel and while it is still damp apply the oil. Rub well into the beard and skin. Finally comb or brush through with a good quality comb (such as a Kent comb) or a boars bristle brush.

LIST 2: Beard balms / moustache waxes:

BaldyBeardy beard balms have rich creamy textures which ensures that they are really easy to apply and feel amazing in your beard. They come in a range of amazing scents from floral to rich and creamy, to woodsy, to fruity, to spicy.

These beard balms are made from the finest natural ingredients such as beeswax, butters, coconut oil and a range of carrier and essential oils. These ingredients provide much needed moisture (by penetrating the follicle to add moisture), softness and elasticity to beards as well as providing extra volume while taming and moulding the beard.

They are formulated from a range of highly nutritious oils, butters and waxes to penetrate the hair shaft, providing hydration and nourishment for your beard, ensuring it is strong, soft, shiny and healthy.

To apply your balm scoop out a pea sized amount of beard balm (how much you need to use depends on how much beard there is), rub between the fingers and thumbs and then rub well throughout the beard. Finally comb or brush through with a good quality comb (such as a Kent comb) or boars bristle brush. You can also use a hairdryer if you wish after applying.

BaldyBeardy moustache waxes are made from the finest natural ingredients and contain a range of carrier oils and butters to moisturise the hair follicles as well as beeswax to provide hold and pliability to moustaches.

To apply your moustache wax scoop out an amount around half the size of your thumb nail, rub it between your thumbs and index fingers to help melt it and rub into the moustache stroking it to the sides in the direction of the growth on each side. A quick blast from a hairdryer on a low heat may help it set if desired, though this is not necessary.

Balms and waxes should be applied to a dry beard to ensure their full effectiveness.
