VAT on items sold to the EU after 1st January 2021:
Due to new EU regulations that came into force on 1st January 2021:
Between 1st January 2021 and 30th June 2021 any orders sent from the UK to the EU may be subject to VAT upon import. This means you may have to pay VAT at your country's standard rate to your postal delivery company who will remit it to your country's tax authority (+ a fee for them to do this) to release your order so it can be delivered.
From 1st July 2021 all online sellers are required under EU law to register for VAT in each EU member state, and to charge VAT on all purchases made through their websites at your country's standard VAT rate. The VAT will be automatically added on at checkout. You will not have to pay anything upon import of your package to have it delivered as you have already paid it at time of sale.
How does Brexit affect my order?
As we are based in Northern Ireland, we are still part of the EU single market and customs union. This means that unlike businesses in Great Britain, we are not required to submit customs declarations to ship orders to the EU.
This should help speed up orders as orders from us to the EU are not required to undergo customs checks.
We are currently processing and shipping orders as normal.
Royal Mail are very busy at the moment. Some small delays are to be expected.
Domestic orders (Orders to UK addresses) - 1st class: 1 to 3 working days. 2nd class: 2 to 5 working days. Please allow a few days extra for your order to arrive due to coronavirus restrictions. Please contact us if your order has not arrived 10 days after it has been shipped.
International orders (Orders to non-UK addresses) - please allow some extra time for your order to arrive. Up to 4 weeks for EU orders, up to 6 weeks for non-EU orders. It may take longer due to there being fewer customs staff and postal staff. We are currently unable to ship to countries where Royal Mail have suspended shipping to these countries.
What products are and aren't suitable for vegans?
Beard oils: Suitable for vegans,
Beard balms: NOT suitable for vegans (contain beeswax and lanolin),
Moustache waxes: NOT suitable for vegans (contain beeswax),
Beard soaps: NOT suitable for vegans (contain beeswax),
Beard wash shampoos: Suitable for vegans.
Do you sell through any third party websites? Do you do wholesale?
We do not do wholesale. We never sell via third party reseller websites.
The only places you can purchase our products are here and at our Etsy store.
My local supermarket is selling 30ml of beard oil for £4 yet you're charging over 4 times that amount. Why is this?
Like everything, you get what you pay for. Take a look at the ingredients on the £4 bottle. You're buying a bottle of primarily cheap, bargain basement vegetable oil and sunflower oil, with some added fragrance oils and other chemicals - in other words, junk!
Do you really want to be putting that on your face?
Your beard will not thank you and will look and feel like crap as a result (weak, brittle, lank looking, split ends, clogged pores, unhealthy skin - you get the picture).
With our oils (and all our products) you're getting the very best ingredients, blended to give the optimum results for your beard and skin.
Looking after your beard is an investment and shouldn't be skimped on. You get out of your beard what you put into it.

Shipping to Germany:
Sorry, we no longer ship to Germany. This is due to problems with German customs authorities not recognising Northern Ireland as part of the EU customs union and single market, and wrongly insisting that customs documentation be filled out for orders arriving into Germany from Northern Ireland.
Are your products safe?
We do not use any nasties in our products. All our ingredients and processes are compliant with UK and EU cosmetic regulations. We have safety reports for our products and are registered with both the UK and EU cosmetic regulatory agencies.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Yes, items can be gift wrapped at a small additional charge.
If you reside outside the European Union please note that customs officials can open gift wrapped items for inspection and dispose of the wrapping. This rarely happens, but occasionally does if they need to inspect a package further.

What do I do if an item arrives damaged or I'm dissatisfied with my order?
Contact us. You may be asked to provide photos of the damaged item. This is so a claim can be submitted to Royal Mail. Please do not throw out the damaged item until you are advised to do so as it may be needed to support a claim. A pre-paid shipping label will be sent to you if the item needs to be returned.
A replacement will then be sent out to you upon receipt of photos of the damaged item.
I'm a social media "influencer". Can I have some free products?
No. Please do not pester us looking for free products. We do not respond to begging messages.
